Welcome to the Fort Jackson Army Wellness Center

The AWC approach to service is holistic. AWC staff members take into account all of an individual's physical, psychological and social circumstances when providing services. A holistic approach is important because a person's health cannot be fully addressed unless we consider the whole person.

Typical Day in Basic Training

One of the biggest fears U.S. Army applicants have is their ability to succeed at Basic Combat Training. It's important for new trainees to remember that the #USArmy wants them to succeed. It's not meant to be easy. It's designed to be challenging. In this episode, #USAREC Recruiter Staff Sgt. Archie Masibay takes us through the initial stages of arriving at Fort Jackson and introduces us to the Drill Sergeants.
